DO YOU WANT TO FOLLOW JOHN WAYNE'S FOOTSTEPS?

We invite you to come to Taborcillo, a small private island off the Pacific coast of Panama that once belonged to John Wayne. Here you can feel his spirit at every turn! When you come to Taborcillo you will be fascinated by the island's virgin nature, its long white beaches and the old mango trees planted by the "Duke" himself!

A highly diverse fauna is waiting for you, too: various exotic bird species have chosen the south of the island as their nesting place, huge iguanas will cross your way and, with a little bit of luck, you will even be able to watch one or more big sea turtles as they come ashore to lay their eggs in the sand. There is a special protection programme for these turtles on Taborcillo.

Ralph Hübner, founder of the Swiss Who is Who publishing house, designed the special concept of an ecological paradise for this island. There is no mass tourism, no 5-star hotel, and only invited guests are permitted to visit the island.

And although Taborcillo has a European management, it still remained a truly Panamanian island.
